So, you are contemplating affiliation with a synagogue and have been looking for a “true fit”. Kol Emet literally means “House of Truth” and the 16 founding families chose this name for its congregation because they desired a more open and direct relationship with Judaism. They fulfilled their dreams by building Reconstructionist Congregation Kol Emet. From the moment you turn into our winding and wooded driveway, walk through the doors into the warmth of our contemporary and classic synagogue, participate in a service, educational activity or social action program, you feel welcomed and at home. In little more than 20 years, the dream has grown to include over 320 families, a beautiful new building, a Religious School program educating 350 students, a preschool humming with 65 children and extensive adult learning offerings. Beyond educational opportunities, there is an ever growing array of ways to get involved in social activities and social action groups. At the heart of it all, we are led in worship and life by our extraordinarily approachable and dedicated Rabbis, Howard Cove and Susan Schein. There are so many reasons why people join the Kol Emet community and there is a fit for everyone. We live busy and full lives and sometimes wonder how to balance all of life’s commitments with the desire to incorporate and share Jewish traditions and heritage. Well, the Congregation of Kol Emet respects and appreciates the realities of life. Our welcoming community provides an accessible schedule for education and worship while supporting each individual member’s desire to participate and get involved in their own way. We are pleased to share information about our warm and welcoming congregation. Please contact contact our office. New Membership Membership Structure High Holy Days
